I have a compulsive collecting disorder. I have about 50 assorted collections. I have seldom thrown away anything in 40 years and collected most anything someone else gave me or sometimes through away, to the embarrassment of my family. However, I couldn't help it. I started collecting antique furniture in 1966 and still have some of those pieces. I collected promotional glasses since the 1970's when fast food started, and collectible toys, trivets, Norman Rockwell, tin cans, coffee cups, silver, lamps, dolls, crochet, vintage materials, dishes, and more. I got it honestly. My mother had the same obsession. She is 81. This website is to dispose of collections that were fun while we were doing it, but clutter now that we need to clean houses. So please shop for some nostalgic or vintage gifts or accessories to recycle into works of art or as is. Just think of us as a yard sale at your fingertips for collectibles and stuff. We will also sell for friends and neighbors on consignment.
Terms of sale
No long drawn out terms of sale here. I describe the items the best I can, and you are free to ask questions. Items will state if new or used. We did retail merchandise for a while so some items are custom made or purchased new for resale as bargains. If you find a similar items elsewhere for less tell us and we will probably match that price. Our expertise was in bargain buying, not bargain selling, but we will try.
Shipping
Shipping will not be completed until any payment method has cleared which can be as long as ten days for personal checks. Breakable items will be insured, and professionally packed, and best method used per order. Large items may be picked up if desired and convenient, to save on freight costs. |
